The Eagle Bay Property Owners Association Board of Directors comprises 5 volunteer property owners, who donate countless hours towards the governance of the community. They will serve a 3-year term without compensation. The board adheres to the Bylaws and Covenants and Restrictions of the association. Board members meet monthly on the second Saturday of the month to handle the affairs of the POA. Along with regularly scheduled meetings, there are many work sessions, and unscheduled meetings to resolve emergency issues, legal matters, etc.

I was born and raised in the Midwest, the heartland, the center of the country, Missouri. I have fifteen years of hands-on experience working with and caring for children, the elderly, and the disabled. I was a Girl Scout Daisy troop leader for six years. A global non-profit, where I had to manage my troop's funds. I have organized and volunteered events for several charities. I am a third-generation property owner in Eagle Bay, which raised a fourth-generation. I have been here since birth, and want to see it returned to its once greatness. Whether continuing to serve on committees as I have done for over a decade or another term on the board I will do whatever I can to improve this community.

I have chosen to run for the Eagle Bay POA Board because I believe Eagle Bay can be a community to be proud of. I believe with honesty and hard work the board and community can work together to restore the reputation and overall character of Eagle Bay. I am not here to hard sell myself. I want the best 5 to take these positions seriously and do everything possible to comply with DNR and enforce by-laws. It's a thankless job but my desire is these 5 show up and do the work.

Hello to all the Eagle Bay community.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Steve Burnstein.

My wife & myself have been Eagle Bay members since 2019 & my wife's parents were members for 30 plus years.

I am running to be on the board of directors for Eagle Bay in any capacity I can offer to make Eagle Bay a better community for all the members.

I believe in fairness, logic, being respectful to others, and doing the right thing for the benefit of everyone in the Eagle Bay community.  We must ALL work together, rather than the infighting within the community.  We need more solutions and less negativity.  I want Eagle Bay to be a safe, respectable community that people are proud of.

As of right now, things are not in a good place.  There are many issues that need to be resolved.  If I get elected to the board as a position or alternate that is the only way I can offer my services and know what goes on from the inside out, to make the best for everyone in Eagle Bay and the community has a voice.  I do speak my mind when things are not right and respectful of people’s concerns and urge anyone that is an Eagle Bay member to speak up, do not turn a blind eye to obvious poor or abusive behavior that you know is wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to read my statement and find out what I am about.

You have to give respect to get respect.

My name is Chris Shull, and my wife and I have been Eagle Bay property owners since 2021.  My work and educational background is in Supply Chain. I have an MBA with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, and have worked in Global Supply Chain for Verizon for the past 9 years.

I believe that improvements can be made in Eagle Bay, but am also realistic in that they must me incremental. I have been involved with a smooth running HOA in the past, so I have seen how an organization such as this should function. I would like to see a shift in the perception of

the board within the community. The board should work with the property owners, not against them. The number one priority for Eagle Bay at this time is the wastewater issue. This must be resolved with the best solution to satisfy both the DNR’s and the property owner’s needs. After that, we can look at the infrastructure of the community, as well as the bylaws. There is much to do on both of these fronts. We need to maintain and improve upon our roads and structures. And as far as the bylaws are concerned, they need to be adhered to and those that no longer make sense need to be changed.
